Service Sinn U2 in our authorized workshop

Every time a Sinn U2 passes through my hands, I feel that I am in contact with one of the most rugged tools of modern watchmaking. This particular model is not just a dive watch; it is a true precision instrument, designed to withstand conditions that few watches can support.

At the recent service I performed on a Sinn U2, I had the opportunity to showcase not only the expertise of my workshop, but also the unique technologies that this watch carries. Its case is made from the same German submarine steel used in U-Boots, offering top corrosion resistance. In addition, the surface has undergone Tegiment technology, which dramatically increases the hardness and scratch resistance.

One of the most impressive details of the U2 is the AR-Dehumidifying technology, which as authorized service center for Sinn in Greece we have the ability to check, maintain and - if necessary - renew. The special moisture removal system ensures that the inside of the watch remains dry, preventing the crystal from clouding and prolonging the life of the movement's lubricants.

The service process begins with the complete disassembly of the watch. Each component of the movement is cleaned with specialized machinery and carefully re-inspected to ensure absolute accuracy. Appropriate lubricants are then applied and reassembled before the watch is tested on special instruments that simulate diving and pressure conditions.

The result is a Sinn U2 that not only meets its original specifications, but is ready to continue its mission for many years to come. As a watchmaker and authorized service center, I consider it my duty to honor both the trust of my customers and the technological heritage of Sinn.
