SQUALE

The Matic collection is the most sought after for underwater exploration enthusiasts. It does not stop at the functionality of the product but is made with the most modern production techniques. To achieve waterproofness up to 60 atmospheres, Matic is equipped with a double-dome sapphire crystal that allows for better performance. Despite the curvature, readability is always perfect from any viewing direction thanks to the anti-reflective coating of the crystal.

The Sub-39 model was created to celebrate sixty years of the Squale brand's history. The anniversary model released in 2019 was presented in a limited edition of just 150 pieces. To date, the Sub-39 collection includes a wide range of watches, all inspired by the past. The case of the Sub-39 is inspired by an old Squale watch found in Charles Von Büren's archives and made in the 1960s. The original watch, made to the standard dimensions of the era, had a 34mm diameter, the only difference from the current Sub39 collection, which instead has a 39mm case.

Born in design in the 1970s, the 1545 collection was produced by demand for many other brands when Squale was one of the first manufacturers of "waterproof" watch cases in the world. Over the years, the "Y1545" case (serial number of the case - from which the collection takes its name) has been produced in different sizes and with different finishes, but has never lost its own signature style, which has remained unchanged to this day!

Drass Periscope, a watch designed for artificial subs!

Drass' story parallels man's passion for ocean exploration. Founded in Livorno (Italy) in 1927, Drass boasts numerous achievements that have placed it at the forefront of underwater technology production. As Drass relies exclusively on high level professionals to manufacture all the supplies for their crews, they decided to commission Squale to develop a watch suitable for submarine operators and capable of meeting their technical requirements. To celebrate this partnership, Squale, in consultation with Drass, decided to launch a model called the Squale Periscope. This model differs from the one produced for Drass, in the dial: to highlight the synergy between the two companies, it was decided to present both the Squale logo and the Drass logo. All other features of the watch are the same as the Drass Periscope, making this watch available not only to professionals, but to all submarine and military enthusiasts.
