Rolex service

When you acquire a Rolex, you acquire not only a watch, but also a legacy. The maintenance of this exceptional piece of machinery is vital to ensure that it will retain its value and functionality for many years to come and be passed down from generation to generation!

Do you need to service your Rolex?

Maintaining a Rolex is not just a process, but an investment in the long-term value and functionality of your watch. With regular care and maintenance, your Rolex can serve you for generations to come. Remember, prevention is always better than cure, so take the best possible care of your watch.

The general recommendation is to service your Rolex every 3 to 5 years. This period may vary depending on the use and conditions to which your watch is exposed. The lifespan of the lubricants inside the watch is limited, and if not serviced, your watch components may wear out faster.
It is important to note that although you may not cause significant damage if you skip maintenance, however, the proper functioning of your watch requires regular care. Thus, to keep your Rolex in good condition, it is best to follow the suggested periodicity.

The Rolex Maintenance Process

1. Receiving your Rolex: First, the watch is received and checked to determine its condition.
2. Situational Assessment: We disassemble your watch and inspect the movement, bracelet and case for signs of wear.
3. Cleaning: All parts are cleaned to Rolex specifications to remove old lubricants and dirt.
4. Replacing Worn Parts: Any part showing signs of wear is replaced with new genuine Rolex parts.
5. Lubrication: All moving parts are lubricated with special oils to ensure proper operation of your watch.
6. Case and Bracelet Polishing: (*only if requested) The case and bracelet are cleaned and restored to their original condition.
7. Reassembly: The watch is reassembled and subjected to a chronometer test to ensure accuracy.
8. Waterproofing Test: A pressure test is conducted on an in-house machine to ensure that the watch is waterproof.

Are you an Authorised Rolex Service Centre?

Several watch repairers loosely and casually use terminology such as "Authorised Rolex Service", "Official Rolex Service" or "Certified Rolex Service" to make it appear that they are somehow associated with Rolex, but the simple truth is that Rolex does not give "Authorised Service" to any watch repairer and the official Rolex Service Centres can be found listed on their website Rolex .
Our workshop is completely independent, so our prices, our policies and the warranty period we give are our workshop's, not Rolex's!
