Hanhart AQUASPHERE, an excellent 300m Diver

With the Aquasphere FreeFall Blue, Hanhart launches its first collection of dive watches and it is everything you would expect and want from a dive watch.

The Hanhart Aquasphere FreeFall Blue has an impressive set of specifications that makes it stand out from the competition. With a 42mm case diameter and 49mm edge-to-edge length, it will give your wrist a significant presence, while the slim 12.6mm profile ensures it is worn comfortably, even under a shirt cuff.

The case is made of high quality 316L stainless steel, with a matte satin finish on the sides that gives the watch a durable aesthetic. The double-clouded sapphire crystal, with a reflective coating on the underside, provides excellent clarity and protection against scratches and knocks.

Another important feature of the Aquasphere FreeFall is the presence of a helium escape valve on the left side of the case, a feature usually found on professional diving watches and indicating the commitment of the Hanhart to creating a truly capable dive watch.

Metallic Bracelet and Clasp

The Aquasphere FreeFall is equipped with a high quality stainless steel oyster-type bracelet that thins from 20mm at the case to 16mm at the clasp. Its matte satin finish perfectly matches the aesthetics of the watch, creating a cohesive and visually appealing look.

The Bracelet is attached to the frame with quick release bars (springs), making it easy to replace with a rubber strap if desired.

Dial and Bezel

The dial of the Hanhart Aquasphere FreeFall Blue is excellent in clarity and design. The matte blue color matches the ceramic inlay of the crown perfectly, creating a cohesive and visually striking look. The applied markers and indexes are coated with C1 Super-LumiNova, providing excellent visibility in low light conditions.

One of the most important features of the dial is the use of the Arabic numeral 12, adding a touch of vintage aesthetics to its contemporary design. The high definition printing of the text, in a silver tone, further enhances the overall premium feel of the watch.

The single rotation bezel features a hollow-edged design with a polished finish, while the elements are lined with Super-LumiNova phosphorescent material for better underwater visibility. The bezel operation is smooth and precise, with a satisfying 60-click mechanism.

Mechanism and Performance

The Hanhart Aquasphere FreeFall Blue is powered by the reliable Sellita SW200-1 automatic movement, a Swiss caliber with 26 jewels and 38 hours of power reserve. This movement is known for its precision and durability, making it an excellent choice for a dive watch.

In our case, Hanhart has set the mechanism to an impressive -1 second per day, and within the general specification of +/- 12 seconds per day. This level of accuracy is a testament to Hanhart's attention to detail and commitment to quality.

The movement also features manual winding and hacking capabilities, allowing precise time setting. The screw-down crown, with its smooth and satisfying operation, further enhances the overall user experience.

Conclusion

So here we have a super dive watch, endowed with great versatility, which combines refinement, functionality, robustness and precision, having an excellent value for money that leaves a lot of its competitors far behind.

Hanhart and the competitors!
