The German watchmaking of the Glashütte has for decades been a benchmark for precision, technical excellence and aesthetic discretion. At the core of this tradition is Tutima Glashütte, a manufacturer that combines classic craftsmanship with innovation.
Tutima announced three new versions of the Patria series, made of titanium, which are expected to be available soon in the Greek market through our store.
The power of titanium
Titanium is a material found in aerospace and medical applications, known for its high strength relative to its weight. In the new Patria, the use of Grade 5 Titanium offers exceptional lightness, durability and hypoallergenic properties, making them ideal for everyday use in the climate and lifestyle of Greece.
With a diameter of 41mm, the cases exude elegance without being overwhelming, while the domed sapphire crystal with anti-reflective coating ensures perfect clarity in all lighting conditions - whether it's the Greek sunlight or evening outings.
Three options, three characters
Tutima has created three different versions to cater for a variety of tastes and styles:
- Ref. 6612-01. Classic and rigorous choice for those who prefer the elegance of a subtle dark tone.
- Ref. 6612-03. A more modern, urban version that is perfect for business environments and casual wear.
- Ref. 6612-05. The brightest and warmest proposal, ideal for those who want a piece that stands out in the hand.
Common to all three is the fine pyramid texture on the dial, which creates impressive reflections, and the handmade Super-LumiNova-coated hands, offering brightness and clear reading even in the dark.
The mechanical heart: the Caliber Tutima 617
Underneath the sleek surface, the new Patria's are beating with the in-house Tutima Caliber 617 movement, hand-wound, with a 65-hour power reserve. The movement consists of 171 components, includes a traditional Breguet-type hairspring, and is visible through the transparent case cover.
There, the wearer can enjoy the traditional Glashütte finishes: the three-quarter plate with its distinctive ribbed edges, hand-polished edges, rubies set in gold chatons with screws, and the ornately decorated barrel and winding wheel. It is a true "scene" of mechanical beauty, reminding us that every Patria is a piece of fine watchmaking.
A clock for the Greek everyday life
The Patria range, while remaining faithful to its traditional values, is perfectly suited to the requirements of the Greek market. The low weight of titanium offers wrist comfort even during hot summer days, while the durability makes it ideal for busy professional or social activities.
Whether it's an office appointment, an afternoon outing in the centre of Thessaloniki or an elegant evening in Athens, the new Patria can stand up to any occasion.
Tradition and evolution in one piece
The Patria series represents the soul of Tutima: respect for the Glashütte tradition and at the same time the courage to explore new paths. With the new titanium versions, the TUTIMA proves that it can offer the classic elegance and technical finesse of a handmade movement, while at the same time responding to the needs of the modern watchmaking enthusiast.
For the Greek collector or watch enthusiast, the new Patria is more than just a purchase: it is an investment in a work of art, bearing the Glashütte signature.
