This Omega Seamaster Chronograph ref. 2594.52.00 came to our workshop for a complete mechanical service and aesthetic restoration, as it showed visible signs of wear on the case and bracelet, while the movement had exceeded the recommended maintenance interval.
At the heart of the watch is the Omega Cal. 3303, a high-quality automatic chronograph with column wheel, based on Frederic Piguet architecture, known for its precision, durability, and complexity.
Work on the mechanism
The mechanism was completely dismantled down to the last screw. All components were cleaned using professional ultrasonic cleaning, checked one by one, and worn consumables were replaced where necessary.
The following were then carried out:
-
Complete reassembly
-
Lubrication with the right Omega lubricants
-
Precision adjustment in multiple positions
-
Chronograph and automatic winding function check
The result is a mechanism that works again exactly as intended by the manufacturer.
Aesthetic restoration of frame & bracelet
The case and bracelet showed clear signs of daily use. Done:
-
Complete disassembly of frame
-
Careful polishing and satin finishing with respect for factory edges and surfaces
-
Cleaning and refreshing bras
-
Replacement of sealing flanges
The watch regained its clean, factory appearance, without exaggeration and without losing its geometry.
Final checks
After completion of assembly, the following were carried out:
-
Accuracy check on timegrapher
-
Autonomy check
-
Leak test
-
Several days of real-world testing
Conclusion
An iconic Omega Seamaster Chronograph was returned to its owner completely refurbished, both mechanically and cosmetically, ready for many more years of trouble-free use.
In our workshop, we treat every Omega — and every high-quality mechanical watch — with the respect and technical precision it deserves.
