Do the Sinn need maintenance?

Even a durable Sinn watch needs periodic maintenance. Specialised care by experienced watchmakers ensures proper operation, maintaining accuracy and reliability - especially in models with special functions or technologies - such as Ar-Dehumidifying, Magnetic Field Protection, Temperature Resistance, Q-Technology...

Sinn recommends a full service every 3-5 years, depending on use and conditions. However, if you notice signs such as instability in accuracy, a decrease in energy autonomy or moisture condensation on the crystal, contact us immediately so that we can attend to it in a timely and professional manner.

The Sinn Service Process

1. Receipt & Initial Check: Every Sinn watch that visits our workshop is thoroughly recorded, checked for movement, case, bracelet, tightness.
2. Dismantling & Evaluation: We disassemble your watch and perform an accurate assessment of wear or damage to all components.
3. Cleaning & Maintenance: Removal of old lubricant and cleaning of all movement and case components with modern machinery.
4. Replacement of Genuine Parts: Any parts that show wear or do not meet specifications are replaced only with genuine Sinn parts.
5. Application of Specialized Technologies (e.g. AR-Dehumidifying): For models equipped with AR-Dehumidifying technology, we perform special work to remove moisture from the inside of the case, replace the absorption capsule and fill with protective inert gas.
6. Quality Lubrication: We use high performance lubricants in accordance with Sinn standards to ensure long term reliability.
7. Reassembly & Timing: The watch is reassembled and accuracy, function and stability tests are carried out.
8. Waterproofing & Certification Tests: Pressure tests to confirm waterproofing, especially on models with special features or diving grades.
