Do the Sinn need maintenance?

Even a durable Sinn watch needs periodic maintenance. Specialised care by experienced watchmakers ensures proper operation, maintaining accuracy and reliability - especially in models with special functions or technologies - such as Ar-Dehumidifying, Magnetic Field Protection, Temperature Resistance, Q-Technology...

Sinn recommends a full service every 3-5 years, depending on use and conditions. However, if you notice signs such as instability in accuracy, a decrease in energy autonomy or moisture condensation on the crystal, contact us immediately so that we can attend to it in a timely and professional manner.

The Sinn Service Process

1. Receipt & Initial Inspection: Every Sinn watch that comes into our workshop is thoroughly documented, and we inspect the movement, case, bracelet, and water resistance.
2. Disassembly & Assessment: We disassemble your watch and conduct a highly precise assessment of wear or damage to all components.
3. Cleaning & Maintenance: Removal of old lubricant and cleaning of all movement and case components using state-of-the-art equipment.
4. Replacement of Genuine Parts: Any components that show wear or do not meet specifications are replaced only with genuine Sinn parts.
5. Application of Specialized Technologies (e.g., AR-Dehumidifying): For models equipped with AR-Dehumidifying technology, we perform specialized procedures to remove moisture from inside the case, replace the desiccant capsule, and fill the case with protective inert gas.
6. High-Quality Lubrication: We use high-performance lubricants, in accordance with Sinn standards, to ensure long-term reliability.
7. Reassembly & Timing: The watch is reassembled, and tests are conducted to verify accuracy, functionality, and stability.
8. Water Resistance & Certification Testing: Pressure tests are performed to confirm water resistance, particularly for models with special features or diving ratings.
