Service Hublot Classic Fusion

The Hublot Classic Fusion 542.CO.1181.RX, with its distinctive ceramic case and King Gold bezel, is a watch that strikes a balance between technical excellence and minimalist design. Each service of this model requires care, experience and absolute purity of process, as Hublot is based on the philosophy of "Art of Fusion" - the fusion of materials, technology and high watchmaking. In The Watchmaker workshop, the process was carried out step by step, with each stage documented and executed according to the company's specifications.

Mechanism Disassembly & Diagnosis

The service started with the complete disassembly of the HUB1110 automatic machine. The picture of the machine fully opened, with all the components arranged on the bench, reveals the level of attention required. Each gear, lever and bridge was accurately removed to check its condition under magnification.

The bridge shown in the first stage of the process features Hublot 's distinctive finished surfaces and jewels set in CNC-machined positions. Inspection showed deposits of old lubrication and normal wear on the transmission - which is to be expected after years of use.

Cleaning & Preparing Components

All components were placed in the professional cleaning machine, where they went through stages of dissolving old lubricants and thorough drying. The goal is always the same: to return the mechanism to its original state, perfectly clean, so that the new lubrication can work perfectly.

Particular attention was paid to the counterweight of the automatic system, with its characteristic open design and large HUBLOT lettering it is the "trademark" of the machine and its correct balancing is critical to the performance of the automatic charging.

Lubrication, Assembly & Adjustment

The assembly of the mechanism followed, with new lubrication at the critical friction points. Each of the 25 jewels received the required amount of special oil, while the balance wheel was adjusted for a constant oscillation.

The date mechanism was then installed and tested for a smooth transition to the day change.

Placement of Dials & Indicators

Hublot's black matte dial, with applied indexes and King Gold indexes, was carefully placed. The photos from the marker mounting stage show the precision of the process: complete alignment, height control, zero contact with the dial surface - all necessary for a flawless result.

After installing the hands and rotor, the clock started to come alive again.

Leakage check

The Classic Fusion's case, although ceramic, requires absolute precision in closing. After servicing, the watch was put into the ProofMaster for a waterproofness test at 5 atm. The final result: perfectly waterproof, ready for daily use.

Final Check & Delivery

The service was completed with a timing check at multiple locations, where the HUB1110 machine delivered consistent results within specifications. The last photo of the fully assembled 542.CO.1181.RX demonstrates its return to its original glory: the ceramic case, gold bezel and black dial make up a watch ready for many more years of use.

At The Watchmaker, every service is a process of rebirth - and every Hublot that passes through your counter is returned to its owner as it should be: accurate, clean, stylish and totally reliable.
